Welcome to the Granary, a comfortable self-catering cottage in the New Forest National Park. Down a leafy forest track, the Granary is in the grounds of a 170 year old forest cottage.
Within the cottage garden there is a separate garden for the exclusive use of Granary guests which has provision for barbecuing and has views across fields. These fields are used by your hosts Jackie and Jim to graze horses but are also occasionally grazed by wild deer. In summer the fields are a picture of wild flowers.
Parking is alongside the Granary and there is secure storage available for bicycles. The lane leads to a footpath which gives direct access to open forest.
The New Forest has many good places to eat and most welcome dogs. Lymington is a popular visit for visitors with it's world famous yachting centre and Saturday Street Market. New Milton is close by and has many good shops and super markets.

One of the most frequent comments we hear from our guests is how much they like the peace and quiet of the Granary. Tranquility is very much our way of life and with a lane that goes nowhere there is virtually no traffic noise, just bird song.

St John's Road starts as a conventional road and then becomes a forest lane which was formerly known as Wooton Rough.
